silk Twilly "Cantique des oiseaux"
This is my first twilly, “The Conference of the birds”.
Printed as a very limited edition from one of my original paintings, it is the result of my passions for Art and silk scarves and was inspired by the Persian literary masterpiece of poet
Farîd od-dîn ‘Attâr , written around 1190.
It is fourteen machine rolled silk twill, finished by hand. It was made in France in Lyon, following the tradition of the “Canuts” (silk weavers, traditionally installed in Lyon since the XVIth century.)
