de vidas, vinos y vides EXHIBITION AT Museo de la vid y del vino, valle de guadalupe, mexico , june 15/august 31 2019
Through works depicting the force of nature and humans alike, “De vidas, vino y vides” by French artist Virginie Paulliac gives us insight into the origins of our wonderful world through the image of wine, the sacred drink of gods and humans. Her plastered works on wood representing the beautiful vine, depict the venerable synergy between the earth and the sun and mimic beautiful sculptures. The meandering and beautiful paths of life are constantly seen in her exhibition through the pairing of her artwork and the unique grains in the wood. “De vidas, vino y vides” is a masterful display of detail and harmony; beauty and the force of nature in conjunction with the use of gold, personal touch of the artist, which gives the artwork a sacred and immaculate feeling. Pauillac manages to reinvent the stunning forces of nature and preserve them in a timeless work of art.
