Ensenada is a place from which majestic ships undertake voyages at sea.
They sail to distant ports like dreams that come and go.
Between dreams and nostalgia, the French artist Virginie Pauillac, captures in a new series of works the charm of living on the shores from the charming port of Ensenada. Immersed in an environment of mist, water, salt and peace, these works evoke what seems to be a dream that is experienced calmly and at the same time by those who have the privilege of being able to observe them.
The strength of a ship that can conquer the sea and at the same time looks so serene and calm when they rest in their harbor rocked by the waves of the sea. They fill the viewer with feelings of nostalgia, dreams, fantasy and beauty. which is one of the objectives of this French artist, who is inspired by places, since each one has its unique beauty.
Using interesting mixed techniques such as charcoal, Chinese ink and acrylic, the result of Pauillac's works is captivating and full of of mystery. The great ships embodied in monochrome backgrounds, give this series of works a sublime force.
