“Beyond reality, where dreams are hidden and fantastic characters, surreal colors and atmospheres live, stories, legends and myths live too, expressing the essence, magic and idiosyncrasy of peoples and regions.

The magnificent stories that have survived time and space resonate deep inside whoever listens to them, as if somehow we were all part of them and fill our existence with meaning.

Hidden in our unconsciousness, these characters awaken our greatest fantasy and move our spirit, to believe again that magic exists, that we have wings to fly like the “chom”, that the jaguar bears the firmament printed on its fur and that the human being it is in essence a being of magic, light, goodness and creativity.

This magnificent exhibition "Mexican Tales and Legends", the work of the French artist Virginie Pauillac, opens the doors of imagination and fantasy to those who carefully contemplate, beyond the image, the true meaning and deep value that these canvases hold when we let ourselves be carried away by the narratives that these works interpret.​
